Try the following in this order:

Try clearing the browser cache. You may have a corrupted or stale page in your cache.

Try another browser.

Try using your phone as a hotspot.

Reboot PC.
Clearing cache alone did not help. Neither firefox nor edge worked. rebooting did not work,
However, using my iphone as a hotspot did work and I was able to connect to the forum, login, and send this post.

What might be going on? I am on a fiberoptic line and have had no other connectivity issues with any other sight.
Clearing your DNS cache may help, as suggested by another poster
. This can happen if you done how get a bad address in
that cache .

If it is not that, your address may be being rejected by the Bogleheads server(s). To resolve this get a new IP address.
Turn off your PC, and reboot your router. Leave the PC off for
about 30 minutes, and when you turn it on, you should get a
new NAT IP address.

Reasoning:
The only thing that I can think of is an uncommon situation, but I have seen something like this.

Bogleheads was difficult to access yesterday, getting many 503 no server available responses. I have seen this with a denial of service (DOS) attack or a distributed DOS (DDOS).

The only way that I knew to resolve this was to deny access to the
addresses in that are involved in the DDOS by way of a firewall configuration
Your PC may have an address that is among those involved in
the DDOS attack due to the attacker spoofing your address.
