i don't think most people need to worry much about this, but, if your username is something people know from your real life, or if your situation is unique enough to be recognized, then i don't think you should do this kind of post.
probably the most common situations that stop me form doing this and where worry when i see others do it, would be when somebody is going through a divorce or other legal dispute, or when somebody has a real-world stalker or jealous sibling or obsessive ex. anything along those lines and you have to be far more careful.
in those cases, i do think the mods will allow anonymous new accounts to post case studies with their approval.
